How UVSP Grants Work

The UVSP's Sustainable Grants Program is designed to assist in funding sustainable projects that primarily benefit the campus community. This grant is primarily for undergraduate UVic students, but can also be extended to graduate students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Details

The UVSP Sustainable Grants Program strives to support students and student groups by providing funding for sustainability-, ecologically-, and community-focused projects. We want to encourage students to take action and provide opportunities for students to pursue passion-projects that support a more healthful and just campus community.

The size of grants offered varies depending on the grant project proposed and is decided based on how a project embodies the values of: UVSP's mission and vision statements, longevity, inter-organizational collaboration, and scale and magnitude of impact.

Eligibility 

You are eligible to apply for a grant if you meet one or more of the following:
  • Registered undergraduate and graduate students (part or full-time)​
  • Faculty
  • Staff member
  • Representative of a campus group

  • Enhance sustainability on campus.
  • Be put into motion within one the proposal.

Please note the following suggestions for completing the application form:
  • The application is a Google Form, please submit it once.
  • Complete the form with as much detail as possible.
